Center for Diabetes, Thyroid,
and Endocrine Disorders
The Center for Diabetes, Thyroid, and Endocrine Disorders of St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City is currently headed by Dr. Maria Patricia D. Maningat. It is committed to providing collaborative, patient-centered, quality Endocrine care through state-of-the-art facilities, diagnostics and dynamic tests. The fellowship training program started on June 1, 2017 under the leadership of then chief Dr. Michael L. Villa. It was granted full accreditation for fellowship training in Endocrinology by the Philippine College of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism (PCEDM) last April 2019. At present, the center has 5 fellows-in-training, mentored by the current Training Officer Dr. Sheryl N. Tugna, together with 18 active and dedicated consultants. It envisions to produce highly competent graduates who will continue to provide quality Endocrine care to our fellowmen.
